Hi Punk fans,

Welcome to a new site that will attempt to be all things to all people. Setting myself up for failure already, aren’t I? This will hopefully be interactive enough with the site visitors that you will help me build this punk information directory. If you have information that you can provide, please e-mail and I will incorporate it into the site.

I am going to attempt to document the punk music releases of the past 25 years. I will categorize these as much as I can into genre (pop punk, 70’s punk, hardcore, etc.). I will attempt to provide band discographies or direct you to sites that contain discographies of your favorite bands. If a particular release is rare and worth some money, I will attempt to be your price guide. If you are a currently performing band on tour, I will attempt to provide your tour dates (so send them in). History of the bands and reviews of CD’s and records will also eventually be included. Labels and mail order addresses will be published.

Sounds pretty daunting, doesn’t it? I am going to start out by creating a few pages that contain bare bones information. The bands page will start off with band names and no information. The "Who Am I?" page will tell you a little about me, my background and why I am interested in doing this web site. The last page will be the labels and mail order page with information on how to get your favorite style of punk (send me the info at willy@punk-information.com and I’ll get it on here).

So as it did 25 years ago, let’s get things rolling with a rousing "Hey Ho, Let’s Go!"
